Does anyone know where I can make a yarn donation?  I'm moving and have some lion brand that I know I will never use.  Any ideas?  I've googled and plan to call knit one, but if anyone has ideas, I'm really trying to get rid of this stuff.

Or, if you want any of it, let me know :D

I have this same problem. You could always just donate to Goodwill or Red White and Blue, but I always want to make sure my yarn goes to a good home. I would check local retirements homes...there are guaranteed to be some knitters/crocheters there.

I know that this information is a few years old, but I gave three garbage bags of my grandmother's old acrylic yarn to these people - http://www.post-gazette.com/pets/20020102spet0102p1.asp

They make little blankets for Siamese cats.

Check with Zeeppo, who can be found at the blog I linked. He's the guy recently featured in the Yarn Harlot's blog who does a ton of charity knitting stuff. I know personally that anything given to him/his clown troupe will go to a very worthy cause.
