How's everyone doing?

Any interesting summer projects coming up?

Anyone planning to go to the Maryland Sheep/Wool fest? Or the one in Waynesburg?

I've been doing a personal challenge to finish one unfinished object a month this year. It's been pretty fun, to pull things out of a forgotten drawer and finally be done with it.

I'm working on the Tempting 2 sweater from Knitty as well, and would like to have it done by the summer to actually wear it. 18 inches of k1,p1 can be boring though.

Waynesburg? I'm so out of the loop. I think that would be fun - I need to do some investigation! THANKS!

What about you? What are you working on?

I'm working on socks, and a pinwheel sweater. But I'm always working on socks. :)

That's the site for the waynesburg thing-I'm thinking of going on Saturday and play it by ear for going back... it's not really far enough to justify staying overnight somewhere but it's too far to flat out say I'm driving down both days.

Would it be mean for me to say I only have 3 UFOs, and that's including the two I listed as "working on"? Hehhhehehe.
(Disclaimer-UFOs are actually a big problem for me so I try to be super disciplined about starting stuff and not finishing it.)

Thanks for the Waynesburg link, I'll probably do the same as you, for the same reason. Have you gone in the past? I'm curious about size/crowd/amount of walking. No better way to learn than to go myself I suppose...

A sub resolution was that I'm not going to buy any more yarn unless I've got a specific project to work on. My stash is becoming a problem (both fabric and yarn) so this UFO thing is really a not-so-secret ploy to free up more room for yarn. So no, you're not mean - but I'm sort of green with envy right now. ;-)

oh lordy.

i have on my needles:

a sock (1st ever, and the first of 2).

a fetching (finally knitting a pair for myself)

a baby blanket (due by the end of the semester).

I'm also trying to finish one item a month. I just made a huge purchase at knit one since I'm moving back to the philadelphia area at the end of april.

If I wasn't moving, I would be all over the MD fest, but I'll be busy unpacking and my sister cannot knit at the moment (recovering from deQuervian Tensovynitis), so I'd be a little bored there without her.

I'm going to have to check out the link for the Waynesburg fest. I just like to see what is going on.

What one in Waynesburg and when? I want to go to MS&WF, but have a commitment that weekend that is keeping me from it.
